Part 1: Wednesday, May 22nd 6 PM - 9 PM

If you want to be creative and play with stencils, patterns, colors and textures, this is for you! This workshop is for beginning and intermediate artists. It’s a good refresher for those who may have made monoprints (aka monotypes) before and may have forgotten how, what, etc. This workshop is intended to be a creative outlet and perfect for non-artists. You will learn some basics and run with them. It’s an opportunity to get creative and a little dirty.

No artistic skill required, only curiosity and creative thinking! At the end of the evening you’ll have a few pieces of art (prints) to show for your efforts.

Part 2: Wednesday, May 29th 6 PM - 9 PM

This workshop can be a continuation of Part 1, where basics were taught (patterns, textures, etc.). Part 2 will allow participants to push their creativity and explore further possibilities of the monoprint process. This workshop is perfect for beginners who attended Part 1 and is not limited to attendees of Part 1, though they get priority for signing up!

The workshop allows for plenty of inspiration and exchange of ideas, imagery, style, etc. If you are a beginner who didn’t attend Part 1, this workshop is still perfect for you. Part 2 pushes your knowledge learned the previous week (if attended) or simply come in an print with others and experiment. At the end of the evening you’ll have a few pieces of art (prints) to show for your efforts.

No artistic skills required to participate in Part 1 and/or Part 2, only curiosity and creative thinking!
