XICO VIDA ÍINA | a collection of prints from the Xico Collection
In 1975, Xico was started as one of the premiere cultural institutions in Arizona serving Latino and Indigenous artists, with a mission of nourishing a greater appreciation of cultural and spiritual heritages through the arts. XICO VIDA ÍINA is a collection of monoprints and monosilks from the Xico print collection curated for their boldness of color and exuberance of mark as a visual celebration of vida and íina— expressions for life, ways of being, movement and animation in the Spanish and Diné languages, respectively.
